I cannot imagine this spooling much faster than the Full already does, and I can imagine it having surging problems unless precautions were taken to prevent it. The cost of the turbo would also go up a ton, but I guess it would hypothetically last longer.

I'm looking for longevity + some of the other goodness that CBRD provides. Can't wait to see the results of the bb bbk full

I've been doing a little more tweaking, and now my fuel pump is starting to limit me I think, I still need to do some smoothing of the AFR's, Timing, and Boost. Here's the graph:

This was still on my stock, 107k mile shortblock, Kelford Cams, ETS 4" FMIC, Injen LICP, Exedy Twin, Unmodded Walbro, Greddy Ti Exhaust, and thats pretty much it. Stock head studs still too I'm using a Pierburg 3 port and a Hallman MBC (Read Scheides' write up on his theory about that)

I gained about 300rpm going from just a plain old Hallman, to the MBC/3 Port set up. Not sure if it has anything to do with the 2 being combined, or if I'd have that spool with just the 3 Port, Who knows.

I love the fact that I have over 400wtq from 4400-6500 this turbo is really starting to impress me even more

Wow, thats on a 107k mile stock block?? Pushing a lot of boost/torque through that thing, I hope you have some funds set aside for a built motor if/when this one goes.

Ok guys-

little update-

we are putting the BBK-B on hold until its released as a ball bearing option- (BBK-B-BB)

The bbk full will still stay available as its current version (permanently)-

So we will be offering the Ball bearing BBK Full and B, and the original BBK full and lite

sorry for my delayed response in this thread!

BBK-B-BB... lotta B's. Is this due to longevity issues with the journal bearing versions of the BBK-B? Are you expecting the BBK-B-BB will still be primarily used for people pushing 30+ lbs of boost?

Sold! BBK-B-BB that is. Ready to buy whenever you'll let me. Pizzaman says he's going to put a good word in for me.

P.S. I'm not even going to monkey around with the upgrade deal. Ready to start fresh and hopefully expedite the process.
