We love using the HKS ecus for speed densiity accuracy and driveability. Pefect cold starts year round and can manage whatever power you will make with an evo. Will also pass obd inspection.

Not to mention 4 mappings for different fuel etc which are switchable on the fly.

Thank you Sean for posting. Great information. Is it possible to get some race gas/E85 tune? maybe if we start a collection

Also,

can some one take some REALLY detailed pictures of the turbine housing. Pictures of the flapper, the wastegate port opening, mouth, volute, etc. VERY VERY INTERESTED.

OP says 99 R.O.N. pump gasoline(Britain). By comparison, 98 R.O.N.=93 R+M/2. So, this is just about 94 R+M/2.

In for iveytune results.

Whats the *lbs/min on this turbo compared to the FP/CBRD/Tomei series. Ive seen guesses but no actual data.

If it flows 50lbs and is BB it may be a serious contender. I for one am very interested.

Cant quite tell yet from picture how tall the wheel is. You can tell why its spooling so fast though. If you took a 16g wheel and did nothing but increase the exducer (major diameter), say from 68mm to 73mm. All that does is allow faster spool. It doesnt do anything for lb/min. So if a 16g moves 42lb at choke flow the larger diameter wheel would be at the same 42lb but with faster spool. extending the tips of wheel gets the air moving sooner given the same turbine speeds. This wheel has some serious long tips!

So far this wheel looks like a 20g with extended tips. The 20g is only a 47-49lb wheel. If the wheel is taller (wider) it will have the ability to move more lbs per minute. So far it looks modestly taller from pic. But just cant tell for sure. But from initial dyno tests it looks to be about 51-52lb wheel.

Then you have to add in the compressor and turbine improvements. The compressor cover looks well machined like it was extrude honed. havent seen any angles of exhaust housing improvements. Sure would like to hold one of these to see what they did.

Very excited to see some more results.

If this is a 52lb compressor wheel, then this is 100% my next turbo. I sure hope it is...I'm thinking maybe more like 48ish. Can't wait to see some maxed out results.
