What Should I Do

Well I have been tuning my car for a while now and I would like ur input on what psi I should run...there is no knock...I would just like to know since I am not gaining anymore power but I am getting more tq and the car feel like it pulls alot harder...I won't go pass 32 psi...and won't be runnning 20psi...I would like to know if I should keep it at spiking 32 psi tapering to 28psi or lower it down to spiking 28 psi tapering to 26psi...and also just wanted to posted this up show how the fp black runs with the smaller 264 cams

Mods:
Fp Black
Stock Motor
Hks 264 cams
Stock Intake Manifold
3" TBE
Ebay Intake
Greddy 3" FMIC
Ebay LICP
Crushed Evo 9 BOV
1200cc Pte Injectors
e85 fuel

You desperately need to let your engine breath better. Try an ETS 3.5" core, LICP kit, and UICP kit, a decent o2 housing, and exhaust.

If you want to leave your setup the way it is, I would recommend 28 tapering to 26. You really have zero supporting for a turbo as big as the Black.

I have a 02 housing...hks 3 inch exhaust...I don't think my car is having that much of a problem breathing I know that it is just that I got a smaller fmic and cams other than that I think it is pretty good...LICP I got it...and I don't see the use for a upic cause it won't gain much from the pipe...bigger cams next year and fmic

Don't forget, you're still on stock engine except of the cams. Be carefull...

What ever you do, dont boost anymore. Everyone knows the full potential of a black is at the boost level you are pushing it. The thing about a turbo is you do not want to push it passed its efficiency range. Once this is done, the turbo will not give you any more power, but will only blow hot air. I would upgrade to GSC S2 cams and valve train. Keep the boost where it is at. If you can install new cams, then I would maybe drop the boost a couple psi just to keep the turbo in its efficiency range.

The way I read is it is that he wasn't asking for what his next mod should be but rather what boost he should run....

Do whatever you're comfortable with. Like they said above remember you are on a stock motor and such. If you want to be safer go 28, if not keep it at 32.

The point of me recommending larger cams, is so he could lower the boost and not sacrifice to much power so that he can safely run power on his stock block. Also to teach him a bit on turbo efficiency.

if you are not on ecu controlled boost i suggest switching to that so that you could customize the boost curve. first off i wouldn't ramp it up all the way to 32 as that will bring too much torque. i suggest keeping watch of your torque and keep it close to 400. probably ramp the boost to say 28 and then slowly raise it to 30-32 as you go to the upper rpm ranges. that should keep your motor happy for a while and still have a good high hp #.

Its a black not a stock turbo this turbo wakes up at 30 psi so at 32 psi your more then fine. The torque usually goes up when the boost passes the 31 psi level it's cause of the stock frame housing..
