btw what issues did you have with your maf tune? i bet my evo has none of them..
Obviously your maf tune has no issues because you are a great tuner.

I have had excellent running maf tunes in the past, but unfortunately my last one was crap. I guess it all boils down to who is doing the tuning.

I was pretty unsure about going SD with all the bad press out there, but after my last tune turning out like **** I decided to give it a try because it couldn't get any worse. It turned out to be my best tune yet.

ya im sure i could get my car on sd to drive just as smooth if not smoother, i just have no interest in it right now. it just takes lots of time and dialing in the tables just right. a 100% tweaked sd tune will always be better then a 100% tweaked maf tune, that much i know and do understand.

I know fathouse loved SD on his car with stock ECU, but loves the AEM more.
If you have an Evo VIII I have the Skunk 2 harness collecting dust. Make me an offer and take this ***** off my hands.

Its depends on what you want to do... the black spools a lil later, but makes more power... if you have a stock bottom end you wont be able to get the full benifits of the black...

2.3 on Pump gas 93? Did you ever get a tune on Pump gas with the Buschur 2.3? By the way your car is my inspiration! Keep up the good work and great results!

Hi, no i haven't gotten to play with 93 octane yet for power. I am going to put some 92 octane in it to see what i can make, I'm curious myself. we have more 92octane pumps here then 93, so that is why i would go 92octane. When I was in ohio for the shootout I did stop at a gas station and made a really quick tune for 93octane with 12* uptop and it did feel decent, i wanna say maybe 470whp if my butt dyno was accurate? E85 is just horrible for long trips.

for stock block i would want a fp green hta because it will spool great and still make great power. the red and black are a little laggy on stock block.

I roll a Fp Red and full bolt ons and it is great on 93. It rolls Buschurs dyno to 403 hp and 367 ft lbs of torque. The set up is super fun. I am thinking 2.3 and M3 cams for next year. Can't wait to see your 92 results!

That is true... I looking to send 2 of my 9 turbos into FP to get upgraded to a HTA green and red... i just scooped up a black and cant wait to put it in when i get back... ill have to hold back a goo amount cuz im still on the stock block and on e85... might have to either go 93 butt gas or just turn the boost way down

BR shortblock real soon!!!

Tk40, krieonic definately can tune seeing I have the highest hp Evo at Cbrd. I just don't like it. I rode in aem evo's and to me it's way better. My opinion! And their is alot of top shops going back to standalone. It was a quick fad that everyone was trying to make crazy hp on stock ecu. But drivability was never said to be dead on! I'm looking for a haltech
