I'm GUESSING it's in the intake manifold. As soon as it hits the dyno we will see. I'm going to run it like it is, put the stock ported intake back on and then probably put the Skunk 2 on the same day.

Then I have some header/turbine housing swaps to make.

Cant wait to see some results. I love the idea of the long rod and every time I talk to emery he has nothing but good things to say about the one in shawnas car.

Your intake manifold dilemma sure is confusing. I'm gonna subscribe this and see what it ends up being.

I was always curious about that Skunk manifold. Your SMIM looked great on the dyno testing before.

my vote is for a track rental! My car needs a few more passes also and that would be awesome!

No time for a track rental this year. I have a Skunk 2 intake coming in, now that they fit the EVO9's without issues I'm going to give it a shot when I start swapping parts around. It would be nice if it worked cause they sure are reasonably priced.

New project starts tomorrow, new car, new platform.

I want to get my car on the dyno this week, hard to say if it's going to happen. The shop is SLAMMED full of work right now, so I'm still in line waiting for my trans and clutch.

Buschur Ported.. Still My favorite and Set more records with it then any other along with the 65 TB.. I dont have the energy you have to do back to back manifold testing but if i can make 900whp on a BR ported and runs 8s i see no reason to use a big plenum.. We already know for a fact the big plenum manifolds lose bottom end and 900whp is more than 99.99% of evo owners will ever need.. Sure the big plenum might make more power at less boost but i love me some boost..

^^ this is exactly why I haven't been in a big hurry to upgrade from my stock ported mani and 65mm tb, but certainly if I could have the best of both worlds with a SMIM I'd be interested.
