Those runners seriously need work... I remember you had to seriously watch the skunk2 honda manifolds as there was tons of crap that had to be cleaned up in the manifold...

You are not kidding! I think there is going to be between two and three hours of port work needed.

Ours also came in and I agree, it could benefit from some fairly substantial porting. Ours is getting cleaned out and ported also. Emery, I'm going to call you, I see some other issues before you put it on....

As a side note, my car is up and running again. It's a bad *** ***** sucka too.

I have to really thank Steve and Dan for getting it in here and getting the new trans/clutch in the car.

The car is SO much easier to drive with the Exedy Triple CM HD in it, I forgot how much of a PITA the Tilton actually was. I use to lightly rev the car and kind of pump the gas/rev it to get it to take off with the super light weight clutch/flywheel in it. That driving style is GONE with the Exedy back in it, it's also much smoother than it was. How easy it is to build a race car and not even realize you are doing it.......

Something else, this freaking "sound system" I put in the car absolutely, 100%, no doubt about it freaking ROCKS the **** out. I haven't been able to enjoy any music in the car because of how loud it is in quite some time. This simple set up is killer!! Screw a radio and head unit, I'll take my $75 system (or whatever the cost was, not much).

I did a log on the street today, 4th gear, from about 2,000 rpm to 5500 rpm. The car hit 20.1 psi at 4531 rpm in 4th gear. I usually test it in 3rd on the dyno. It will be interesting to start the testing again, I want to start RIGHT NOW!!

My goal has stayed the same since I started this. The most low/mid range I can find with about 640 whp up top at low 30 psi boost levels.

If thats the case then yours probably do not match the head ports as they are put there to make them match. The cast is off for sure and that is their fix.

So they must have two different casts then? Because without the port work they did it would be a mile off.

So far we have found a bunch of things that need to be changed to make this thing work. Not a problem though, As long as it works when installed we will fix the issues and do the port work on all of them we sell.

Here are a few pics of the runners cleaned up.

Do you think the sharp edges by the injector provision should be smoothed out as well to aide with atomization, or will it not be effected?

Most, if not all of the Evo injectors have sort of a bell at the end on them that protrudes into the manifold a ways making the edges no issue.

We are bolting it on now. Its been a few hour fight getting it ready. I really hope this works.

Gotcha, didn't know if the tips extended past that portion of the manifold or not...
