I just reviewed Chris's testing. Stock intake manifold with a ported stock throttle VS the Skunk with their larger throttle body.

So that explains a lot. The throttle body would then fit, the gasket would work and if you weren't **** about details the port work at the head would be satisfactory.

I am not running any throttle body other than stock ported and I am **** about the transition at the head....

So at least this rules out the intake to be my magical potion of speed I did however rework the one on my car quite a bit internally to work with my setup, otherwise it does bolt up with no issues.

dont turn the boost up too high, it might explode.

I have a Skunk2 TB on the way. should be here tomorrow. Im sure the Skunk TB will seal. If thats the case and it makes more power like that we will talk to skunk about getting it made so the stock TB can fit right. I don't know why I am still going with this I feel like I'm putting in to much time for a lost cause, Guess I am just trying to find a cheap alternative for everyone. At this point though, If it does work I am sure it will be a bit more expensive with all the work that is needed.

First thing tomorrow, my RS will be on the dyno. I'm just testing our ported stocker on the car to see how much low/mid range I can get back......if any. If I have time I'm going to swap the turbine housing too.

Waiting for your next test Emery.

I will give you a call tomorrow as soon as I know whats up. Also we are coming to Ohio for that track rental Thursday. I think we are gonna turn it into a mini vacation and come your way. I am sure we can find something to do.

The over all results seem good but the back to back test is long gone. If her car makes it back home ok after this weekend we will probably put it back on the dyno and do the test all over again. I will say this though, This skunk part requires a LOT of work to make it right.

Emery and/or David,

I know this has been talked about a lot but is there any future plans to test the Rev3? I have a hard time finding any comparisons anywhere. I trust the information provided by MAP, but would like another comparison like the rest of the evo community. Im debating purchasing one and would love to contribute to a test if it would benefit you. I dont have easy access to a dyno or I'd try myself.
