I don't pretend to be an expert on turbos but I do my research before I buy and the HKS hasn't been out all that long and there have been tons of those turbos on the F/S thread...thats a strong indicator to push to me over to the HTA or consider the BBK. Just my .02

Yes. The detailed boost plot is here of one of the runs: (renamed the omni bar to JDMMAP so it showed up by default in Virtual dyno)

I have to agree. Id get the green over the HKS. The BBK series turbochargers are pretty nice also.

The HKS probably does have better transient response though.

i like that boost plot, it holds dead on pretty much. the lack of taper is what i like, and the setup on the car is very close to what i would be looking at also.

my wallet is mad at you now LOL.

I second that. I think the HKS is sort of like the Tomei when it came out, a lot of expectations but people really weren't satisfied, that's why you saw a lot of them for sale.

HTA Green would be my choice.

It should be as reliable as MHI turbos, mitsubishi heavy industries. ive seen stock turbos last over 100,000 miles. I think your turbo will outlast your engine in all honesty as long as you lubricate it properly.

ya amsoil is great oil. 28psi is still not pushing that turbo either, so you should have lots of miles left on it.

lol I wish! My car made 420 on 25lbs. Not much boost for E85 but I had the stock head stud back then. I doubt I'll see 500 with a stock motor, stock cams on a old style green anyway.

you mean like if you turn the boost up at what psi level will it start to fall off? i dont know honestly. but right now its not dropping off at all really. But i think once it passes 30psi it will tapper down at higher rpm a little.
