This HTA green seems to be rather impressive the more I read about it. Especially on pump 93. Solid numbers for a sleeper like turbo...

Nice results I'm very tempted to upgrade my old 1st gen PF Green to the 73HTA version. Seems to be a nice step up across the board with no real loss in spoolup.

Just an update for this thread.. i will make a new thread for the results later on but for now id like to share what E85 has done to this vehicle..

29-30psi - LESS timing uptop then his 93octane tune and its borderline 500whp on stock block right now with a quick *** spooling turbo..

Ive forced the boost to stay as flat as possible at lower rpm to delay the torque punch this little turbo gives without sacrificing response time on spoolup and have the torque as low as i can get it right now at higher rpm without sacrificing power uptop.

we will pull more timing downlow to flatten the torque even further (if possible) and raise it uptop probably 1 more degree will bring it about 510whp and that will be his goal.

The car ran out of fuel pump.. the walbro is done for. the afr go lean uptop and are uncontrollable at this point, so he ordered the new DW300 pump (300LPH)

that way he did not have to worry about 2 fuel pumps.. perfect example how the DW300 comes in handy.

Results so far..

Thanks Mike.. I just noticed something I screwed up though.. the one pull #14 has the car set heavier then the last pull we did #15... disregard the power on pull #14 its only actually around 485/414 on that pull.. i had the car set as a GSR when its actually an RS .. my mistake.

glad i caught it before someone else though.

fixed the image mike.. if you remove what you quoted so others dont get confused it would be helpful.

I was looking at logs and thinking to myself what is going on here.. cars holding more boost uptop yet same power
then i looked at the weight on the virtual dyno and i was like NO! so i fixed it and real deal is above..

goes to show how easy you can manipulate the virtual dynos tho.

Hey Tom, I wish I would have seen this sooner. I'm super stoked to see what we can do. I gaurentee we won't run out of fuel with the double pumper and 2150cc. I think we could probably push 26 - 28psi on 93 with my motor too.

very solid numbers, how do you get a graph like that without actually dynoing the car.

One of the ecu guru's has written a program that very accurately tells you your power/tq from the logs. Search Virtual Dyno and you should have it

TOM....looks like you are becoming quite the Sensei. Great job on the tune. And people said a green can't do 500whp....BLAH BLAH.

I too ran out of fuel when switching to e85. I want to push the turbo and the tune more, but my little 255 is screaming for help. DP here I come.

We might have to compare notes a bit.

Paul

Hey Paul.. ya no problem.. but remember this is the newer green. I do have a older green to show you data from tho when you get back from the army.. and based on his numbers i guarantee you can get your car over 500 on the old school green on e85.

Sounds like all those late nights discussing tuning is paying off. I feel bad because I am so far out of the loop now.

It will be pretty sweet to get 500 out of my old school green. Ha....just in time for me to do a rebuild on the motor.

I'll be home some time this September. Drop me a line some time.
