It will be pretty sweet to get 500 out of my old school green. Ha....just in time for me to do a rebuild on the motor.

I'll be home some time this September. Drop me a line some time.
yep all those little tricks definitely helped. ill bring you back in the loop.. but really youre still in the loop.. nothing is new really.

with a good 3 port you can safely push that hp and keep the tq low. you'll probably be shocked once you get back and use the virtual dyno progs how nice they are now compared to what we had before.. manually punching info in excel

stay safe.

Tom.....any particular reason why you are holding the torque back? It is hitting peak pretty late. I suppose you are limiting spool to keep the torque lower to save the bottom end?

I ask because that Green should be hitting hard and fast IMO.

i could make the hp/tq almost side by side but im sure his motor would not like that to much.

what i did was lower the wgdc and then raise it uptop so it delays when peak boost occurs. Then pulled timing downlow to flatten the curve. the car has ecu boost via a perrin 3 port.

its hard to keep the torque low and hp high on a small turbo like this because it wants lots of timing earlier then a larger turbo which makes the tq curve go up with the hp sooner. even killing all the torque downlow it still managed to make over 400 at higher rpm.

he installed a DW pump, we are gonna tune it for 520 and then be done with it.

hes in NJ so theres lots of crap weather etc, so we keep getting delayed.

Great results... You been turning out some great cars lately Tom.

You need to get the HTA86 done, I want to see that thing hit 700whp!!!

Question - for the 93 tune result, would you have needed the larger injector over stock?

Thanks, thinking about running the green w/ similar boost but wondering if I need larger injectors...

injector duty was 90% or more on precision 880CC so yes you need bigger injectors.

this car trapped 120mph on his setup with more in it cause afr was 11 flat. was on the e85 tune tho. (1250cc fic)
