Mikey's FP Black - 748WHP
Wonder what a stock 9 turbo would do with this mod.
edit: anyone else thinks CB might have done this with his htagreen pass?

I wonder what would happen if you machined out just the section after where it meets the wheel. Thus keeping it divided (including the wastegate) right up until the exhaust first hits the turbine wheel.
^ We thought about that and it will be tested as well.
Well it is nice to know that everyone outside the US is ****ting in our bowl of cereal. Not to be cocky, but I know what it took to make this power and it would take a lot for someone else to make more than I did without fudging stuff. The last time I was at the track it was 640-650whp. I rolled out of the hole with 225 street tires with a completely full weight car and did a 10.6 136mph. For what it is worth. If I didn't mind doing my 4th tranny build, actually launched the car out of the whole, and had slicks I would have been a 10.3 @ 140mph if I had to guess.
This is my thread and if people want to continue bad mouthing a Dyno Jet I'll have the thread closed. It doesn't make a bit of difference to me. You can't fudge numbers on a DJ. If we want to act like adults and have a discussion that is one thing.
I am not about to quote everyone over the past 8 hours that I have not been on here. Thanks to the non haters. I find it impressive that a customer car can have this potential. It is not very often that a customer's car beats a shop car record. No pun intended Mike. You have to remember I DD my car, it's the only car I have and my car was dyon'd at a very safe level where as a shop car, well they can push as hard as they want and if something happens, o well they can still drive home to their family. The dyno is 5 hours away from my house so I was not about to have a booboo being so far away from home and about to move 3,000 miles across country in a few days.
Just to make all the haters and non believers even happier, I'm only 2hp way from breaking the HTA3582 record as well on a DJ. I don't think everyone understands the effort put into my car. I knew all this **** was going to happen, I thought about not even posting any of this testing or dyno because of all the wonderful haters in the world.
I built this car from the ground up for a reason, and 80% custom stuff for a reason... If someone doesn't like this fact about my car, then I'm sorry and you need to get over yourself.
Sorry if I'm a bit pissy, but I just drove 7 hours in ****ty traffic, there was a pile up on the Interstate (the car behind me almost hit me, and my friend Damian with his evo in front of me almost got hit too) and just walked in my house to this bs.

Mikey I wouldn't worry too much about the UK guys, they thought 400whp needed built motors until the last year or so because their tuners liked too much timing (tm).
74X whp on the ER dynojet is still around 65X whp on a proper mustang dyno (and probably around the same on a proper DD) which is nothing to shake a stick at.

Thanks for your support Bryan. I know... Makes me want to work harder and make even more

Thanks for all your help again Eric!

...is it really fair that you're claiming a FP Black world record?....you're claiming 748.5WHP on a dynojet - I'm sorry but that’s a extremely bold claim that literally sounds physics defying...It's all very well claiming world records with these dyno queens...I don't mean to **** on your parade...Karl

Well I'm just glad you did it in WA
Make me want one of those super elite o2 housings made here too. Man I'd be happy with 500whp, been rocking half your power for almost 4yrs now

At the 500whp level I can beat all day and the car will hold together no prob. That is what I like. I can't really get my car to make less than 500whp on E. and that is wastegate 1 bar.The housing is sweet

Here is the link for the Switzer highest hp HTA3582. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...a-750awhp.html
I have to say this little Black is giving that car a run for it's money. I have never seen a Black hold better out the top than a HTA3582

I read all this and want to point something out. mikey has alot of custom parts on this setup. like the o2 region for example alot of the parts cost more and are 1 off parts. Not like everything he has is over the shelf products. so results are going to vary highly with his setup. Now maybe im mistaken but I thought his was done for the record only not to run it at this level at the track. I never saw/heard Mikey saying he is going to the track at this level to make a 9 second run. Correct me if im wrong boss
Also something that has not be talked about is yes this is a DD car but the amount of money spent on parts labor etc alone is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay beyond what the average evo owner is going to spend on there car. the 5k LR2.4 and 600+ dollars Custom made cams gives that away.

Good morning Gentlemen!
Murlo,
If you were not talking about me, then I apologise for my smart **** remarks. Sorry.
Mikey,
Please don't get your knickers in a twist
Let me be clear about this - I'm not a hater (quite the opposite actually). I really enjoy hearing about people like yourself who push the boundaries. I understand that your sport is seeing how far you can push a setup on a dyno run. If your interest is pub figures and bragging rights then that's absolutely fine!
I can completely understand that you were going for a record and the car will be toned down for street/strip use. Like I’ve already said – I’m interested to hear how the car will perform on the strip with your new setup.
I personally feel threads can be rather boring when all the comments are kiss **** and licky-licky brown nose "sick results" "congrats" "awesome" "nice work" etc. Don’t you? I feel it's good to throw in few different perspectives - points for discussion if you like. I'm sorry if you feel I'm deliberately going out of my way to kill the spin of your thread. If remarks I’ve made have motivated you further, then I’m happy for a positive outcome
Please see my above reply in response to Mikey.

Karl, let's be honest and forthright. Your main purpose IS to **** on Mikey's parade eventhough you state, to the contrary, that it is not your intention. So, let's just call a spade a spade: Mikey's car did what it did. It is not a claim it is a fact. So, just what is your problem anyway? I am sure that deep down inside you are a really nice guy. You are merely playing the Devil's advocate. I understand...someone has to be a jerk.
