Unfortunately the Mustang Dyno is only as consistent as the operator allows it to be. The shops that keep them 100% properly calibrated to MustangDyne's settings are very consistent with each other. A lot of shops will alter the paramters to simulate neighboring dynojets in their area.
Kings Performance sets their Mustang Dyno to emulate Dynojet results and openly makes this info available without hiding the fact. They just preferred having a loaded dyno but preferred sticking with the dynojet results they are accustomed to. It does make it confusing when trying to make power comparisons across the country though.

right on, ill have to ask around and see what others say regarding the settings and numbers they made.

They can make a sizeable difference if the cams weren't actually on the centerline they are supposed to be at. They can be off from manufacturing error (GSC's are quite consistent though) or from having the deck and head milled a great deal. Once the cams have been properly degree'd with a dial indicator, you now know the true centerline of each cam. From that point, you can make adjustments on the dyno which can help shif the powerband where you would like it to be.
