Stock 9 Turbo, Speed Density, E85, Boostin Performance, 467 HP!!

We recently tuned this Evo 9 on E85. This car is my Wifes DD, and we were very happy with our results.

When the car was tuned on 93, it made around 370 hp.

The car included the following mods on the 93 octane tune:
  • AMS intercooler and piping, Tial Q BOV
  • 3" Turbo Trix intake with Vibrant air filter
  • Invidia O2 housing and full 3" exhaust
  • Turbosmart Manual boost controller
  • Omni 4 bar map sensor, GM IAT
  • 255 Fuel Pump, still on the stock injectors (130% duty cycle)
  • Stock Evo 9 Turbo
  • Stock Evo 9 Mivec cams
  • Stock ECU Tuned on Speed Density by Boostin Performance
Since the pump gas tune, we've added the following mods for the E85 tune.
  • Kelford 272's with Kelford valve springs
  • Grimmspeed BCS
  • FIC 1150cc injectors
  • Works thottle shaft seals
We have been to the track on the E85 tune and have gone 10.90 @ 126 mph so far. Heres the video of the 10.90 http://youtu.be/RP4IqJMw73Y

That would be nice, but at full weight I dont think its going to happen. But I think we fixed our traction issues

What tire size on the car? It seems it was not selected and with that and 1.07 thats a extremly high number. If you have a log for the run you are willing to share I would love to run it in a more current version of VD with proper tire size. Also your boost is way to low for that power level so sorry but I have to call BS on this being a Stock IX Turbo Dyno Graph. Im on a FP Red and making less then that and a IX with just as many mods as yours with 100 OCT only made 375 on a Real DJ and allot more boost as well.

Great numbers for that stock turbo, I am really amazed how far people are pushing the evo9 turbo. It is almost as if you dont need to upgrade anymore . E85 is magic, I love it.

Putting larger tires on your car without changing the tire size input would make the VD numbers read LOWER not higher. The car was tuned on stock sized street tires so there is no need to change the tire size input. I used the default setting for the correction factor, so I’m not sure what you are trying to say.

Yes, this car is making more power than some FP reds, and also goes faster in the 1/4. It trapped 122 mph in full weight form! That trap speed proves the car is making the power the VD claims.

I’ve tuned lots of FP Reds - 400-450 hp on the Mustang Dyno we use is usually what we see. 375hp on a dyno jet seems really low, especially on E85.

We didn't upgraded them yet for that pump gas tune, but now the car is using 1150cc injectors.

Nice work, i'm sure you can get that taper to stop at say 25 odd psi with the Grimmspeed.

I wish!! The grimmspeed is at 100% Duty cycle at around 6500 rpm. I think I may try using a 25 psi FP wastegate actuator to try and help that boost tapper, we'll see.

nice numbers man, but wow ur pushin a lot of hot air through that hair dryer haha, now i know the virtual dynos man are supposed to be somewhat close, i know ops got some supporting mods, but 467 hp on a stock turbo even with supporting mods, is way out of ordinary borderline factory freak. I mean I made 385 on a true dynojet granted in 107* ambient temps, but even on an fp red with supporting mods, so either your elevation is low there, your ambient temps are still cool as ****( here in cali there over 80-90 already), other then the tuning theres gotta be more to this, otherwise your the next Criss Angel pullin magic tricks on people haha.
but good job if everything really checks out.

yea i know aby, although ive seen stock 9 turbo evos here in socali running e85 too, but theyll be just barely over 400 hp on a dynojet, however havent seen them go that deep into the 400s, like this car making 467 hp. thats all not knockin on the car or tune at all, just sayin that this is a big difference between what ive seen, and what I see. OP throw it on a true dynojet just to compare.
