FP 71HTA 91 oct initial results

I did a fair amount of basic modifications when I made the switch from 9 turbo to 71hta. My car was tuned initially on E-70 at 28 PSI with the following list of mods back in 2009:

BR TBE
MR O2 housing
ETS 3.5 IC and pipes
ETS Intake
APS Bov
1200 PTE
Walbro

I live in NM around 4200 feet of altitude; hard for small turbos to hold boost up top. I used the Virtual Dyno correction of 1.0 because I accounted for weather here which is around 17% on the low side. I dyno the car in Austin (dyno jet) on E-85 last May in it put down similar numbers to the E-70 graph showed here.

Ok, I got the 71HTA last month with the following mods to the car:

MAP 3" Dump (amazing work)
Map Rev 2 IM (stock port)
Mil.Spec 65 TB
Ported Hotside

I started tuning the car yesterday on 91 Oct; I'm learning on my own so I'm afraid to go with E-85 and break something. Obviously, the fuel curve look like a crap, I need to lean out the spool up and make it more consistent. The timing is almost dead on with 2 counts of knock at 6000 RPM...took a couple of degrees off. This is 26.5 PSI......can improve the boost curve a little bit more.

My goal is to put down 400 on 91 OCT, I think if I go SD and get a better tune it's possible on my set up without going to the S2 cams yet.

I would appreciate any tips on how to improve the tune

Stock cams? List your complete mod list, if you left anything out.

you should be able to crack 4 on 91 with proper AFR. Im a hair over 4 on 93, and fairly rich. enjoy!

I am a fan of 91-octane myself just for seeing what it is able to do since I live in southern Arizona with a similar altitude as yourself. I like the power the 71HTA is making on pump/91 but I, too, would be interested in knowing what additional mods you have.
