are you still keeping timing a little conservative up top to limit torque slightly? whos mustang dyno were you on that you say its also much lower than buschers? great results btw cant wait to see it hit the track

Thanks guys!
Timing is conservative down low but its pretty maxed up top. The dyno I was on is Speed Industry's in Troy, MI. thanks man I'm excited too!
Haha bottom end will be built after I reach my goal
if it explodes, then I will probably look into a 2.4L setup.

thanks guys. this car is special.. just because one can do it doesn't mean they all can..
proceed with caution for whoever attempts this on stock rods and unopened shortblock.
it is on borrowed time regardless if i have the torque curve controlled or not.

At least he didnt get as many stock block bashers as I did. His car should go 9's at 140+.
OP are you planning to use the HX40 on a 2.4l also?
Nice tuning tom!
The stock block is stronger then what people actually think it is.If the tune is spot on,and using e85,this will ensure the care runs perfect. The trap speed are impressive for 588 whp!

The only problem with holsets is they're not designed to handle the heat from a gasoline engine. It's possible for the shaft to snap but people are pushing them pretty far with no issues. I ran mine hard all year, still zero shaft play or burning of oil. If you break it, who cares it was $350 dollars. Holsets ftw.
