I think 04 has steel door beams (I believe his is an 04) / Aluminum in 05
I think Davids car has Aero parts in it that also add weight/ Mine does not
Other than that our cars are very close.

He does have a half radiator but I doubt its much lighter than the stock one if any. Even though its half size it still probably has a thiner core so it makes up the difference.

I'm sure my car is heavier in some spots than his, but just the difference in the clutch is around 10 lbs. Hell, my whole exhaust probably only weighs about 15 lbs.

I did not weight my car with gas in it though.

Hope that helps.

one thing i can't stand about the exhaust is the gaudy greedy muffler, ricer's exhaust looked perfect!

Thanks for the professional response, Emery. After further thought the car is probably closer to 2700 than I had originally estimated. My #1 flaw is jumping to conclusions, but hey, no one is perfect.

I'd still like to see it on a Cat scale and that's just to compare the Cat scale to your own personal ones. If the opp presents itself, I'm going to do it with my own car.

Maybe I'm just jealous that I'm strugging to get my car under 3000 with your STM small brake kit, no backseat/trunk, no AC, etc

I don't like the muffler either but it came with the car and just like everyone else, I am on a budget. If someone wants to buy the greddy ti from me, Please let me know. I would love to get rid of it and build another full aluminum one. But for now, It works.

cars going to fly!!! love the mortal combat references. glad to see i'm not the only one who has a little kid left in him ... "whoopsies" "flawless victory". Now all we need is a "get over here" when we see it reel in and fly by a domestic car at the track haha.
