BR's highest HP stock ECU EVO
It's all relative. Riding shot gun is a much different feeling than being the driver(IMO anyway).
My car on the old setup seemed way faster than I know it was when I was letting my cousin drive it back in November.

Ran out of fuel again with the AEM.
It was forgotten about, but, the double pumper was NOT the Buschur one. They took it out yesterday and what they found was sort of comical. The pictures are on facebook.
They modded what I had to make it as right as they could and it went back in.
Maybe tomorrow the car will play nice and he can finish it up.

What do u think daivd on the new 6466?
goal is 850-900whp DJ on 4G64 2.1L 45-48 psi, so 6766 or 6466 and the kit is T4 twin scroll ?
what do u think on those turbos would make these numbers on my setup ?
the car is for street racing

Yes, got the AEM on the car and fought the fuel again. I was completely baffled as the should NOT be out of fuel at this point, no way. I ASSumed though that it was OUR double pumper. Nope, ends up it was one of the copy cat companies that came along later after we started doing them. Go figure.
Here's some nice pics of the mess we found when we pulled the unit out:
This picture is showing the pumps, no attached at all together, just left to beat around against each other in the tank. Also shows the non-E85 approved fuel hose and 2 cent worm gear clamps, one of which wasn't tight.

This picture shows the way this "company" wires the second pump in. There is no separate wiring for the 2nd pump, it all runs through the factory plug, BOTH pumps. Uh, needless to say that's a lot of current draw on that little bit of wiring.

Last but not least, the two different 255 pumps that were in the unit.

Then of course my comments--------> There is a reason we don't sell our double pumpers without pumps or using some existing pump. We sell it complete so it works and flows the largest numbers possible. In the case of this unit we have two un-modded, different 255's, two different socks, the pumps are set at the wrong height in the tank and not attached. It's no wonder people complain about fuel starvation, running out of fuel before the gauge reads empty and think they need upgraded lines or larger pumps long before they actually do. This unit was a mess, a piece of **** actually.
It doesn't matter who's it is. You want one that works? 440-839-1900, that's our number.
The fuel filter that was included in this kit also stunk along with the non-E85 lines that ran to it.
ALL of our fuel line is ethanol compatible and our filter will flow 1200 hp+ and is also a SS body.
We put new lines/clamps on this kit, modded the pumps, changed the wye section and hose and filter. I didn't want to charge Josh anymore money and wanted to just fix this mess he had.
This kind of crap has now cost me 3 days of work, 3 trips on the dyno. Headaches sorting it out and trouble shooting it, thinking it was ECU related etc. Hell Josh now has an AEM in the car when the stock ECU, had this been known, may have worked out.........in the end it runs nicer anyway
Back on the dyno today to hopefully finish it up.

The E70 tune is done. 711 and 590 ft lbs in 4th gear at 37 psi. I'm not pushing the car any harder, it's beyond fast enough to get killed in already. I know Josh has an event planned that will include some road racing and such when he comes home on leave next month. This is more than enough power and we can always go up later.
Pump gas is going in next then we'll drain that out and put his E70 back in so it's ready to go home. The car is at 11.6:1 AFR's on the E70, I left a little room for him so when he puts in what may be E85 it will end up around 12:1.
I have a video I made, I need to cobble it together and post it. The double pumper fix took the AFR's from 12.3 and 120+ IDC's to 10:1 and 90% IDC.

Haha. 12.3@120% to 10@90% is pretty bad. At the time(2 years ago) when I bought that pump setup I was trying to do things on the cheap and only ever expected my car to make ~600 on a dynojet.
I admit, 711 is pretty silly. When I first talked to you to get all this in motion back in December I only thought of it making 700 on a dynojet.
I'm sure 711 way more than enough for now, lol. The only reason I could see trying to get more is if I have an "itch" and think I need more for tx2k13 next year.

the buschur twin pump system works so good, I don't know why people are trying to re-invent the wheel. Just go with what works and is proven many times over and save yourself the headaches and money doing it over a second time.
I have this conversation with customers every week it seems where they are trying to do some crazy overly complicated setup that's just asking for problems. Keep it simple and keep it reliable is our motto.

I stopped by yesterday to grab a few things and head back up to NY, and I heard this beast on the dyno. It was shaking that whole neighborhood, I love it.
This combo was so impressive that one of our employees just decided to go with the beastly BR 2.3RPM/6466 combo as well! Expect an RA# request very soon Dave! I'm glad the fuel issue was figured out.

Great news! Thanks! This new crank seems to be working out very very good. This engine revs like mad. This is the special light weight billet crank we had Manley make for us and it's taken this long to get in a care we had complete control over to test.
Great results... The wiring to the fuel pumps are kinda scary, even though the 255s don't draw tons of current, I don't think I could trust that... on top of that if that heat shrink isn't submersible/chemical resistant then that is opening a whole other can of worms...

it pays to buschur, the first time.
