I just got head from CBRD

Sorry about the title Chad, i just can't help myself sometimes lol
So i was recently retuned at CBRD. The following were the parts i had, and what i replaced them with

stock head- CBRD spec cylinder head
gsc s1 cams- Kelford cams
buschur ported im- Magnus cast im
pte 880 injectors- pte 1000 injectors
****ty mini battery- stock battery
I also had them do the 60k service, tires, and swift springs

The previous tune was 405 whp and 330 wtq at 26.9 psi in like 50-60 degree weather. Chad tuned it to 28.3 psi and made 436 whp, 321wtq back in June during the 100+ weather. I had to take it back for a quick retune as i had issues with the stock ecu, and he turned it down to 27.3 psi and richened it up a bit, and i ended with 421 whp and 318 wtq
As expected Chad and Mark are top notch guys, going way past the extra mile to get my issues resolved. Thank you so much.
Here's the graph

wow the dollar per hp ratio is definitely low for cylinder heads... i would have expected 30hp and 20-30 ftlbs torque from 4k to redline. that thing only picked up a little peak hp and lost torque and you added .4 more boost?? i wouldnt be happy at all after spending that $$$

their the ones who got head

it does appear that way...however, the weather has played a big factor between now and when i dynoed at 405...in reality i picked up about 35 whp ...im sure chad can chime in on this

I'm also a bit confused, happens all the time, but you started with 405/330, did all those mods and ended with 421/318? So you gained 16 HP but loss 12 TQ? No disrespect but I don't get it. Subscribed for some understanding/knowledge.

I think many running a Red, big cams and ported head are running more boost. With a worked head and bigger cams the car should take more timing advance and boost without knock.

Guys u have to realize, when I dyoed at 405 it was awesome weather. He pulled up the temp but I don't remember what it was,I think like 57 degrees The 436 tune was while we were having the heat wave. I hate playing numbers game, but the dyno said if it was 70 degrees it woulda been 460ish
I had an issue with my ecu, had to get a new one, and when he retuned it, he richened it up just to be safer. Im sure chad will have more input

maybe the kelfords lost the torque of the s1's. why did you switch from the gsc's to the kelfords instead of the s2's? I definitely want to see what chad has to say about this.

You should post the graphs. I'm sure that peak numbers aren't telling the whole story.

Nevermind, just saw the link.
