I'll be sifting through this thread later on to see who gets a key chain.

To the off topic guys please start a new thread it's hard to comb through 2 pages of debating to see who needs key chains.

Quote: wow, I guess I hit a nerve. so I make a comment on the 630 hp and you come back wanting to bet me a grand that its 600hp so you just dropped 30 hp and your guy says 610 dropping 20 hp. then you say 600hp gets you 133-136, so if that's the case shouldn't 630hp be like 136-137 ? if I tuned as many cars as you have [if I could even tune a car lol] and had 1000 bucks to blow I might take that bet as it would be close, but my un-educated guess is more like 580ish tops but what do I know. anyways, to me 30-40 hp is waaaayyyy off, and another thing that's funny how whenever vd is compared to say dj, the numbers seem to always be lower never higher? hhmm. and yes your right I do relate to mustang dynos rather than djs. and I can't forget the fact that you mr. tom have a rep for being reeled in to reality some time back if my memory serves me ? but you do seem to be after real numbers more so now, but you disregard 30hp likes its nothing. if you did a re-tune and the end result was 30hp less then when you started . I now will apologize for pulling out the soap box for tom, which I believe he can spot from a mile away so but I shouldn't feel to bad seeing how I gave fp 7,700.00 of my hard earned dollars over the last 6 years. no regrets just beat downs.
im not saying it wont make 630whp on a Dynojet. Im just saying there is no why im off over 10-15whp off from 630whp on a dynojet. I do it on a dead flat roaded and weighted my car at the track with me in it.. see the problem is people dont do it on flat roads always i 100% no i do.. and most people that dont track there car dont know there car's weight and that will throw off the reading. again i no exact weight again i do.
VD has be proven many times that it is close to dead on if done give or take 10whp

Quote: he is really quick at shifting. i am not surprised he grenaded his trans honestly. when i let him drive my car he shifted it much quicker then i normally do. the only way i could match his shift speed was if i palm shifted it, which i feel is hard on the transmission.

You didn't find the 8 leg to aggressive? its easy to learn? i heard if you downshift it and pop the clutch to quick you can actually lock the tires up its that aggressive. is that true or bs?

The car i was in with the 8 leg did feel pretty good. it felt more solid. the engagement was more solid per say i guess.
8-leg is super easy to learn.. My wife learned how to drive easily after letting it out twice from a stop. It's not any different when shifting, only on take off.

I'd have one of these dyno sheets to post if I could afford the forced BB upgrade service for my JB turbo......
