Need your opinion?

I hope this in the right thread I was not sure where to post it for the best response but....

my car = 2004 lancer evolution

I had my car tuned and it put out 320hp 305 tq

Here are my mods (pertaining to performance)

Turbo back exhaust

dnp header

cams (im not sure what size they have been in the car since I have owned it the last owner seemed to fancy hks so their probably 272's)

hks cold suction intake

walbro 255

hks fine tune cam gears

hks bov (recirculated)

lightweight flywheel

tuned on aem standalone

^^

Another shop told me with those mods they could get me to 360ish? I dont want to waste money to find out and only gain like 10hp. I also feel like I see other 8's with the same mods or less with slightly bigger numbers.

tuned on a dyno jet

looks like hks 272 cams if cammed. other ones like gsc or kelfords would yield much more than that on pump. 93 octane?

I dont think that set up will get you even close to 360. The numbers your at look right for the mods.

if your on a factory 9.8 turbo yes those numbers seem fine, and why in the hell would they tune you on an aem stand alone for such little mods? But your numbers look "healthy" honestly. With my silver evo on a 9.8 housing with intake and upper intercooler piping and lower with turboback on cat it made only 280, upgraded to a 10.5 housing MR turbo it made 322whp with same mods with out cams, so your right where you should be. I could only see you at 360 with a evo 9 turbo. And thats pushing it depending on dyno.

also do you have a dyno graph? that would help greatly to give us an idea of how your car is running, peak numbers dont really tell the entire story.

Thanks for all your replies! and the previous owner had installed the standalone I didnt want to take time to swap it out with anything so I just have it tuned on that (maybe they wanted to go bigger I am not sure?)

I have the graphs I just need to locate them. But Im glad I am in the right area when I was told that I was upset for awhile. Thanks again guys. (ill try to find those graphs its been awhile)
