The FIRST (I think) BBK-C Results Thread! 2.3L, GSC R2, 93 and E85
Alright Guys. We went to the dyno last night!
First off, I want to say thank you to my friends at Devo2ning for putting together a fantastic motor! This thing revs like a motorcycle with all of the lightweight parts in the rotating assembly!
This is a Dynocom dyno. The owner has had it back to back compared with a mustang, and the mustang reads about 5whp more on a 400whp car.
Here is the mod list:
Stock ECU with Tephra V7 (For now. Going with a standalone soon)
Evo 7 Block
-Bored .040"
-Stainless o-ringed
Winberg Billet 100mm Crank (10lbs lighter than stock!)
Manley TT lightweight rods
Wiseco 1400hd pistons (.040" overbore)
Un-ported Evo 7 Head
-Supertech Inconel Exhaust Valves (Stock Size)
-Supertech Black Nitrite Intake Valves (Stock Size)
-GSC High RPM Beehive Springs
-GSC Ti Retainers
-GSC R2 Stroker Cams
ARP Custom Age 625+ Headstuds
ARP 2000 Rod Bolts
ARP Main Studs
CBRD Speed Density Intake
CBRD Ported Ball Bearing BBK-C turbo
CBRD Big o2 Housing/downpipe Combo
Toxicfab Stock-Replacement exhaust manifold
No-name 3" exhaust (with test pipe)
ETS 4" IC
ETS Pipes
Fullblown 70mm TB
Map Rev3 intake manifold
FIC 2150's
Datschwerks 320
Fuellab FPR
Sparktech COP with CDI
Tial Q BOV
My first impression is HOLY SH*T!! This thing makes a lot of power, and a ton of tq! My Tuner, And the Guys from Devo Tuning were all surprised by this turbos performance. Way to go Chad!!!
The Car is on stock ECU, and started to run out of fuel on e85. I'll be getting a standalone eventually and a walbro 450, then we can really turn it up!
We wanted to keep the pump gas tune very safe, so @ 28-29psi on 93 octane, with very low timing (4* max) the car made 547whp/491wtq.

Then we put it on E85. we started running out of fuel with my current pump (Datschwerks 320). I'll be getting the Walbro 450 soon.
@32psi on E85, the car made 639whp/553wtq!

She's still got A LOT left in her once we get some more fuel!

Next time we hang out i'll give you a ride
Thanks Collin!!
Thanks B.J. It's quite a handful!
No problem, you've made a hell of a turbo here buddy!
Do it once, do it right
I'll upload the videos when i get home from work

They sound super mean at idle too
The pump is rewired, and the car has 2150cc injectors. Both of those will help stretch a smaller pump.
Thanks Collin!!

not trying to start a pissing match but nope the numbers don't add up
pump rewired or not...
Besides the turbo is not as large as a FP Black and they make roughly 510awhp close to maxed out on 93 pump

You're right, I just have tons of time on my hands, so I sit around and make fake threads with fake numbers and fake graphs.
You wouldn't be the first nor the last!!!
I'm just saying it's a 60-61lbs/hr Compressor Wheel you made 639 running 32psi stating it has more in it on a dyno that you said reads ever so slighty less than a Mustang
Where in the world did I put that FLAG
