The FP Black makes about 45whp more then the FP Red at the same boost.

They are pretty close. The difference is, the Black can run a lot more boost then the red and stay in one piece.

Unfortunately no. I had a shop do some simple work to my car last spring and apparently they either didn't replace the timing belt tensioner or they didn't know how to install it which caused the think to jump time during a 2nd-4th pull. Luckily, the block itself is fine. Tom will be building me a new 2.3 in the coming months.

Well thats unfortunate. This is pretty much the exact same setup I was going to put on mine until I can fund a motor build.

^^ It's a very solid setup man. I believe the motor would have lasted for quite some time with Tom's tuning. Can't trust certain shops though sometimes.

Thanks man. Once the motor gets build and everything else is in order we're going to try and beat the current FP Black record. So be on the lookout for that!
