This is a pick of it when I inspected it a month ago. Could it be a bad pump since I'm no longer hearing it whine and also a dirty filter?

On 92 octane and a 2.0L I couldnt exceed 29psi without some knock at 11* where I preferred to run the car. At the time I had stock knock control on the car but looking back I am not 100% sure it was real anyway. The car made 590whp peak with all the bolt ons.

When I switched to the 2.2 I made 641@30psi and the 2.4 made 650whp at 29.4psi. With a good twin scroll housing (or even TiAL V-band) it seems like I can push it further than the normal ballistic housing. If this were the case I would think that adding some more boost and timing may have seen 660-670 (DJ) which is where Dave has gotten his I believe after the 13-15% difference from his Mustang to our Dynojet.

Can someone show where 44 lbs/min comes from? I get 36 - 39 lbs/min

Even in a ideal scenario of dry air at 0*C which has a density of 12.42 cubic feet/pound, that only puts it at 41.22 lbs/min.

Or if I do it this way: P(psia) x V(cu.ft./min) x 29 divided by (10.73 x T(deg R)) at 65*F, when P(psia)=13.949

then I get 36.76 lbs/min.

From what I can see of the dyno, it doesn't look like you're running out of fuel. It's a little lean, but it looks like it flatlines all the way across. If you were running out, then it would curve up as you go to the right.

I think your problem lies elsewhere. I have been following this thread, but haven't read every post as it's gotten pretty large.

I'd like to see the torque curve. Can you post up a log? I know you said your tuner tried to get more with an agressive tune and it didn't give anything. Is it knocking at all?

A compressor map typically rates the turbo at a PR of 2.0. Also, the compressor in the Evo is the TD05HR-16g6. It has been posted several times in this forum, including by myself with some overlays of maxed runs, etc.

The 2.0 PR rating is 580 CFM. Looking at the compressor map, maxed out it can move over 600CFM at 65% efficiency.

SeaFoam makes the engine smoke like crazy. If there is smoke coming out of the turbo you have an exhaust leak.

It's not fixed yet but I believe my Turbo is toast. I ran seafoam through it and turbo was smoking like crazy meaning it has various leaks, especially around the Vband area and even seat foam liquid came out through there. The rebuild kit does not fix it because there is no seal or so in the center cartridge that can be replaced via a rebuild kit.
