Buschur 2.3L RPM + BBK-B BB + E85
Thanks at the same time, my car isnt exactly mildly modified either. lol.
Also if you look at it in another perspective, 2 street awd cars on 255 tires with less power than me, went .3 and .1s faster than me...makes it look like I suck *****. LOL!! But yea in Limited Class 4th or 5th was the absolute best it would have done. Lost to JC Meynet by 3/10ths, but to shed some light on why that was the case, it was because he was on some 220tw Achilles Street tire (meant for drifting). It was essentially a drift tire used in Formula Drift. So that was a very respectable time to run on those tires.
I added a 27mm rear sway bar on full stiff and stiffer springs all around 14k/14.5k, but still had understeer at the limit. I rather the suspension tune to meet the way I drive and not the other way around. Easier to tweak suspension to suit my style rather than completely change the way driver drives. Obviously, if there was something fundamentally wrong like a bad habit that needs changing, well then I would obviously make the change. lol.
We also corner balanced it again since alot of weight was taken out since the last time it was cornerbalanced. Then realligned with slightly different specs. Now, I think the next step is to get the car more loose than before. Some dampening/tire pressure/wing angle adjustments.
I would increase rear tire pressures by 2psi, turn down the wing by 1deg, and change rear toe out to 1/16th out. Maybe run -3.5 camber in front instead of -3.3.
Robispec no longer is doing my suspension. Gilbert Flores from Massimo Power does my suspension now. No hard feelings between me and Robi. We are good.

Thanks Zhong for explanation.
I hear you. Best to tune suspension to your style and needs of course.
I would try to increase front grip before loosening rear end - lowering grip.
Deeper-longer-wider splitter/wing, a bit more rake maybe, and more camber- I wold dare to try up to 4 degrees, but braking may be compromised!
Awesome, thanks for sharing
This is your ONLY car, so let keep that in mind.
Plus, its not like you've been racing for 10 years in everything, this is your first track-car as far as I know.
So my sincerer congratulations.
I am going to try to follow gently in your footsteps, in street tire class.

Nice man, I like your setup... I have a journal bearing BBK full on stock block that I'm about to build. Thinking of going 2.2LR... But it looks like you're getting some good results on the 2.3. Love those power figures on the BBK-3B, been thinking of sending mine in for the upgrade. Do you run your car on 91 at all? I also am in so-cal as well and just do autocross occasionally and mostly street/canyons but may be looking into doing some tracking in the future. I can't get e-85 in Santa Barbara, though... :-/ BBK-full on 2.2 should be good setup for 91 oct, but i'm tempted to go another route seeing what your setup is capable of... I just need to implement some better fuel, maybe a good sump tank based meth system or something... Great build man.
