Results will come soon (14days), but first i have some questions. It has 10.5 compression and I road race really really hard. What is a safe and conservative target boost and timing i should be aiming for. What is considered aggressive? Again it is for road racing application not DD or your occasional drag strip setup where it can handle lots of boost or a few seconds.

Car has all the supporting mods.

It makes 240whp bone stock on the dyno ill be using for reference. Mustang Dyno.

Before rebuild, I made 26psi on built 2.0L with bbk-b and e85. 440whp and 360wtq.

I am guessing I will make 460whp and 410wtq at 21 psi. Is that safe boost number for 10.5 compression?

Anybody with real experience with these motors?

Looking forward for the results.

Surely is high comp motor,,, David doesn't have a recommendation for the boost level ? I am sure the motor would be fine on 21-24 PSI and still make a healthy 450 ponies

28psi should be a good boost level for you to be competitive. its e85, so you aren't really going to be boost limited. id run around 27-28psi on e85 for a road course car.

The 2.3RPM is just a manley turbo tuff super lightweight billet crank. the rotating assembly is a little lighter / more balanced, so it can be reved out higher, however rod ratio still is 1.5 regardless, which is the ultimate regulator when it comes to how high you can safely rev an engine out.

If you want to be conservative on e85, than 25psi.

thanks!! That is what i was looking for. 25psi it is. I'll maybe do a low and "high" boost map. 20psi and 25psi map.

7800rpms would be good number for rev limiter. Its a stroker, no need to rev so high. oil pump will be more happy too. all the torque is available in the next gear anyways.
