I just downloaded the rom from my car as I need to take the car to the dealer for a reflash. I will be restoring to the old rom after the dealer visit. Just wondering if someone could take a look at the rom from my car to make sure what Ive downloaded is all I need to reflash it back.

 

Yeah you'll be fine. All you have to do is connect the ob2 connector, and the white "flash" plug. Plug the tactrix to your computer and open the rom you want to flash. Once you do that in the top left of ecuflash there will be an option saying "write to ecu" click that and ecuflash will do the rest.

Make sure you have ecuflash before you start. And turn the key to the ONII position before you attempt to flash it.

 

They can if they dug real deep into it like they did with mine when I went in for warranty work...bad luck I'm telling ya...

 

What is the dealer flashing in? You should understand what they change in case you need to also make that same change to the original ROM.
