If someone wants to send me one, I'll try it. I'm actually taking the compressor cover off this weekend to weld a "rolled lip" onto the inlet so the intake pipe will stop falling off lol

Why does your intake pipe keep falling off?

It slides off because there isn't a lip on the turbo inlet for the hose clamp to run up against.

It's probably because of the way I have the 10an line for the catch can routed, I think it pulls it off when the filter/pipe are moving around, or something. Either way, I'm gonna do a few 1" long welds to make a lip for the clamp to hit and it wont come off anymore.

So I actually watched this on something with speakers and realized you're almost never in boost. Hmm...

For those that may have been wondering, I put a stock final drive back in my car, and I am absolutely in love with it. Its a shame FP doesn't make this turbo any more. Response is amazing, and lag is almost not noticeable. I'm very glad I gave the turbo another chance with the stock gearing. We will see how it does at the next autocross I go to. And I will get gopro footage.

I wonder how I'll like the Red with a 2.3 and my Shep 6 speed with final drive.

Idk what your gear ratios are, but Aaron told me that a 2.3 on the MHI housing stock frames usually moves the boost threshold 500-700 rpms sooner. And of course the stroker makes more torque anyways. He said to expect over 500ftlbs if I went with a 2.3, proper head work, etc..

500 ftlbs / faster spool on 2.3, can't wait to get my 2.3 done.

I've been meaning to get you a data log, but now you're a believer!

Well, you could try the SpeedSport carbon/carbon single. 600hp capable...it's going on my 2.3 and a Red. Plus, I sell them

Close to an Exedy Twin Disc without all that annoying rattle.

Funny thing. My ACT went bad. The ring that holds the monoloc in the pressure plate broke. So, I bought an Exedy HD twin that a local guy had bought, but never used. Picked it up for $1,100. I absolutely love it. It only chatters when the clutch is disengaged, so it doesn't bother me. And it drives awesome.

Do you exclusively run E85? Do you have any virtual dyno (or real dyno) plots with the factory FD?

The 4.11 final drive appears to be a better option if you go to a stroker 2.3 or 2.4 motor.
I can see the 2.0 would respond better with stock gear ratio's. I liked my HD twin too....rattle wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and loved the performance.
