English Racing Tuned Evo 8, MHI FP Red 452whp mustang Dyno
Finally got my setup all dialed in. Tuned by Aaron at English Racing (John Bradley on here). I have to first say that Aaron is a true master at his craft. My car has been in the hands of two other tuners before him, and drive ability was always so-so. My car now drives flawlessly, there are no hiccups, lean spots, flat spots, whatever. At WOT, it's pulls extremely smooth all the way to the rev limiter, I couldn't be happier. I am also VERY happy with red. I included a picture of a datalog showing the ramp up to boost threshold. The pull was started at 2500, but it's the same if you start at 3,000-3,200. Low HP graph is road race tune, 23-24psi peak boost with a smidge of taper. Enough rambling, onto the setup and charts.
Engine-
Speed density, Tial QRJ
FP BB Red with MHI turbine housing and 84mm FAP compressor housing
MAP O2 dump
Buschur 3in turbo back
GSC S2 Cams and 5041 valve springs
ETS 3.5" intercooler and piping with short route upper
Stock untouched manifolds and head
Stock short block
Drivetrain-
ACT XTSS clutch
TRE Stage 3 trans, stock Evo 8 ratios with 4.11 final drive
Built tcase and diff.
Fuel-
FIC 1650 Hi-Z injectors
Walbro 450 pump, rewired on dual voltage, stock FPR, feed and return lines, siphon drilled to 9/64's
Max injector Duty cycle of about 78% out the top.
UPDATE: If you read on in the thread, you'll see I wasn't too happy with spoolup and reponse. For those that may have been wondering, I put a stock final drive back in my car, and I am absolutely in love with it. Its a shame FP doesn't make this turbo any more with the MHI housing. Response is amazing, and lag is almost not noticeable. I'm very glad I gave the turbo another chance with the stock gearing. We will see how it does at the next autocross I go to. And I will get gopro footage.

QRJ works flawlessly as long as the turbo isn't on the surge line. It coughs the BOV in 5th if your try to start a pull below 3500, but its not a big deal to just down shift.
It was a remote tune. And that's another thing, Aaron was always very quick to respond. I typically would get a revised ROM within 12-48 hours of sending him logs, sometimes within 20 minutes if he happened to be on his computer when I sent them. We had pump gas all finished up with 5 revisions, and same for E85. And when it was on the dyno, I scheduled it with Aaron, and he was right there responding almost instantly looking at logs, and taking into account where we were at for hp/tq as he was turning it up. It was a truly hassle free remote tune experience.

To the OP, great numbers! I bet the car is a blast.
Yes, the car is a riot. Spins the tires in first with 265 re11's and the 4.11 final drive extends 4th to 140mph, great for pulls in Mexico
It has pro's and con's. Better flow and more power on upgraded turbos. Stock turbo it doesn't do much because the wastegate isn't very open on a good tune. It does sound good, but it is also loud and attention getting. It has attracted negative attention from other people and police a few times. The way the dump pipe is routed on the MAP one, it's kind of difficult to get the passenger side bolt out for the down pipe at the O2 housing. However, it definitely got some cheers when I was pulling out of mod this weekend lol.
