Excuse me for the delay, i had some difficulties and tune is not finished yet, however i have some results for your reference. One dyno is on pump gas (626whp), but unfortunately injectors are not enough (1000cc Bosch Motorsport). As per my tuner (with bigger injectors ) we will go 640-650whp in same boost. Second dyno is with meth, 669 whp but not finished (for that reason is at 7166 RPM) Expecting with meth to go around 700whp.Spool is around 4500 RPM (with 5858 it was around 4200 RPM).

I searched for the shop and address listed on that dyno sheet and it's in Greece by the way. The results should be easily attainable on E85 though I would think. Seems to spool quick and hold power well. This turbo looks like an awesome turbo for someone not wanting to step up to something the size of the 6266.

Ah, this trumps the 6266 in both spool & power... making "stepping" into a 6266 a an actual downgrade in my opinion...

That's a GEN1 6266, you need to compare it to the GEN2 6266, which will make quite a bit more power than this turbo up top.

Never posted my video/results...sorry guys. 2 weeks after this video I spun a bearing ....crappy luck. It's in the the process of getting rebuilt now (wrapping it all up...should be done in the next week). It will be even stronger this go-around.

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/ZtQvoLJNL3E?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

It made 425whp and 343tq at 25psi on 93 octane on a Mustang dyno. Once the rebuild is done, I'm going to have it re-tuned, turn up the boost a little and see what it can do on a DynoJet. Excited to see what we can make happen

Will post full specs with the next video.

Nice! Can you post the dyno plot from that, spool is probably the most interesting thing to me in regards to this turbo

I don't "need" to compare it to the GEN2, though we certainly could. Both Generations are still available so naturally the GEN1 6266 is a bigger/capable turbo which is still a viable option to compare it too and still very popular out there.

You're right, if you just feel like making completely random comparison, then have at it.

Nobody out there is going to go from a GEN2 aero turbo to a GEN1. Nobody, so the comparison isn't based in reality. Comparing the two different sizes, with the same aero package, clearly shows the 6266 is still a step up in power, which is what you were incorrectly refuting.

Back on track though, the 6062 is looking really impressive for it's size and is probably a ton of fun on the street.

It's not random at all...

So you're saying no one has a GEN1 6266 build that wouldn't want to compare it to a 6062? ... my comparison isn't far fetched buddy... it's a real plausible situation for anyone in a GEN1 6266 looking for more power and faster spool.

I couldn't agree more....
