The whole TS vs SS debate and transient response i can't really help anyone with.This is my only turbo besides the 9. IMHO It feels good to, its not laggy, but i also don't run around going WOT at 2k so if thats what you mean by lag then yes.. there is some if you WOT at under 3.5 it takes a min to hit... but i would say its more of a short 500rpm delay... then it hits hard.. If i dump boost at 4k then push it again boost is instant.. I also have the 2.3 which even with the r2, makes the red feel much snappier than the s1s on the 2.0 with the red..
