FP Red DBB results

thought id post up results from my tuning session today

e85- 28psi- ramping up boost from 23 at peak tq to try and keep the tq below 400
490whp/402tq










Aem 5 Bar Map Sensor, Aem intake air Temp
Stock Bottom End- 52,xxx miles
Buschur Racing Stage 3 Head
Kelford 272 cams, with Supertech valve springs and retainers
Arp Head Studs
Fp Red Ball Bearing Turbo

Bushur intercooler piping with tial BOV

Nice numbers. Must be a blast to drive. Looking at your former cars you have a fondness for cars made in 2006 lol. Enjoy the new setup!

Thanks, I still haven't gotten it back yet as the tuner wants to fine tune the flex fuel maps and get the drive ability perfect. I plan on picking it up this weekend after I get back from my work trip

It is pretty fun how most of them are from 2006, was a good year for the auto industry

i agree, he had another evo 8 with kelford 272 and on pump gas 25 psi it only made 396/340 .... my car on pump made 440/350 @ 24psi

It could be higher but the OP kept it lower on purpose to keep the stress off the stock block as in bottom end, he has it in his sig.

Exactly, that's why I went with electronic boost control to keep the time down and ramp up the boost to keep power high. The green line is boost
