Wanted to share a vid I made with our road to the 8s.. was not easy due to national drag strip conditions, but we finally got there.. from what I am told it is a world record for lancer evo 9 without any ignition amplifier..

Congratulations, although I don't understand why the no ignition amplifier even means anything as that record means nothing. It's like saying you have the fastest car in the world on a certain set of tires.

 

Agreed with the bold that it does seem very hollow. That being said props to my fellow caribbean brethren for continuing to push the envelope.

It kind of speaks to how much power the car can make..

 

It makes over 1000whp according to the end of the video. Honestly, would an ignition amplifier change anything?

 

I didn't watch the video. But if it doesn't make 1k, you're right...lol
