Same here, looking forward to some results.
Very interested in the spool characteristics of the turbo.

Although for a price tag of $2,500 ... I am sure most people would rather opt for a PTE in similar size for a lot less.

The spool and response should be the same as the current turbo correct - just a touch more on the top end??

I'm replacing my 40r with this turbo. I should have results in a bit. I'm on a built 2.0, s3, v5. Actually now rereading it. I bought a GTX3576r. Should be similar results.

So it's been a bit, how's it going?

It appears to be over flowing our single 44mm wg so we're having trouble using he ebc. Running off of wg at 20lbs. Creeping up to 24lbs

At 24lbs we're at 515 on a mustang dyno. We had a spike to 26lbs once and it was around 550hp

Hoping to pickup a manifold with dual 38mm wg soon so we can run ebc and get the power bumped up a bit.

As far as drivability it feels great. Boost rolls on smoothly and manageable (once tires are warmed up).

This matches what TSComp said on one of his threads using a GTX3582R (prob Gen 1). I asked how it compared to a 6262 or 6266 and he commented that the GTX was very linear and felt like it was a big engine where it felt stronger the more you revved it out.

The numbers on that car were lower than a 6266 and it didn't hit as hard as the PTE (ie laggier to reach peak boost) - which depending on your application could be a good or bad thing.

If you're trying to turn the boost up, boost creep isn't an issue..

I've found it as low as 1800. Plus housing.

we're building 2.4l car with gtx3582 gen 2, full race twin scroll t3, t3 1.01 housing. Looking for generous torque. S2 cams skunk 2 ported intake mani.

The housing adds $400 to the price, but all the G2 stuff includes a housing unless specifically stated. The smart choice is to buy the turbo w/ housing. You can find them for about 2,100 on ebay.

GTX3076r Gen 1 vs. Gen 2, G2 ran out of fuel up top but the tuner expects about 40whp gain along with 500rpm sooner spool.

Granted this isn't a 35r test, but it gives you an idea of what the G2 stuff is capable of. I'll post updates as I see them. I'm waiting for another car to test a 3584rs.

*Credit to Johnson Tuning for putting in the effort on the G2 vs. G1 GTX.

500rpm faster spool than Gen 1 with everything else being equal? I have a hard time believing that but if it is true, that is pretty extraordinary!
