You would have to pose that question to Robert.

I thought you were referring to starting the pull later in the RPM. I was going to say the curve shows starting at 4psi which is the hint its not starting at that rpm and its trimmed off.

Yes for this car it should have a Black or smaller. The car still has a good powerband if you rev to 8500+ but it comes on almost like a 6262.

The car was very fun to tune. Also i shared 3rd gear on a evo 9 5 speed and 3rd is short. 4th gear had a nice 3500~ powerband.

Eventually we are going to build the engine for that car.

I did not know that. Thanks. I never share my zephyr results because I always thought they didn't perform well, now i know why.

Absolutely. The SS housings are NIGHT and DAY difference. Its very very easy to achieve 700whp on the fp black in SS housing now.

Now that you know its between a red and a black, are the results decent? I was wondering why I never saw any results. Share some.

What kind of pump gas? Central America gets 89 at best. Arizona, California, and Nevada get low quality ACN91, northwest gets 92, other various states gets pretty good quality 93. All are from the pump and give various results

I was pushing 2.2bar boost on a 1.5bar spring MVS 38mmfor the fp zero. Got 600whp (DYnojet)

but the wastegate seems to be fluttering to try to hold the boost. is it normal? will changing to a 1.7bar spring eliminate that?

I am using a HKS EVC 6 boost controller.

I meant 600whp on 93 octane with a full all out setup with all bolt ons required.

fluttering can be from not enough WGDC or vacuum line routing.

22psi spring should let you boost over 32psi, but if its not allowing it then yes swapping to a larger base spring will allow it most likely.

Make sure theres no boost leaks or backpressure issues so you dont overspin the turbo.

Yes i understand full setup.

I am running a Tomei 2.3L stroker, tomei 280cams, Twin external fuel pump with surge tanks, 1200cc injectors, Sparktech ignition, AEM Methanol kit Etc ETC ETC..

Will try to swap out with a heavier spring and test it out.

Would you recommend a Black if the Op wanted earlier spool?

Sorry OP for my questions going off topic slightly.
