I have been tuning Austin's Evo IX for a long time now. We started with MAF and now we finally converted it over to SD.

Along with the SD conversion, I also did a springs/retainers install and upgraded the cams in the vehicle to GSC S3.

Also installed larger injectors, replaced the fuel pump & filter, replaced the real trans / roll stop engine mount, STM upper piping / intake, Tial Q BOV, and performed a thorough inspection and boost leak test on the vehicle

Mods on vehicle are as follows:

Evo IX GSR
Stock IX Turbo
Full 3" exhaust
FIC 1650cc inj
Walbro 255 modified
GSC S3 cams /w Kiggly springs/retainers
STM upper pipe /w Tial Q Bov
STM Race FMIC
STM Intake pipe
Tephra v7 speed density /w ecuboost

This car definitely felt like a 120 trap car with this power level.

Next step for this vehicle is larger turbo, Our custom TSComptuned double pumper, and E85.

That is highly impressive for 93. Wow! You don't plan on seeing what E85 can do with this set up?

We were going to add E85, but after the power the owner felt on straight 93 he was happy as is for now.

It definitely felt like a 120mph 1/4 trap car. Pulls very strong!

Temperature was in the mid 50F that helps big time as well.

Great work Tom. Wow S3's & stock turbo seem to work really well, I love the power & torque curves. Awesome numbers, this is an impressive car.

The S3s seem to be killing the lower RPM a bit, will the s2 be able to crack 400hp with the stock turbo? or will the s3 be needed?

With E85, S2's can help you crack the 400s

I used to have pretty much the same setup on my evo 8 with 9 turbo s3 cams and supporting mods

made 385/380 on mustang dyno
