I just ordered some Fiberglass headlight replacements today, they weigh 1 lb 5 oz each. I need to weigh my stock IX HID headlights. Anyone know the weight?

I also did a lexan front windshield this last month. My guess is it saved about 12-15lbs

Keep a close eye on the powersteering lines. I've seen another Evo that did that have problem after problem in a road race type application with the off the shelf type AN lines. The eventually went to industrial strength hydraulic lines which solved the problem.

agreed, my high pressure side one needs to be changed to teflon lined hose with compression ferrules. This iteration was for proof of concept, as I ran the line under the motor mount ( High pressure side)

Looking good antilag! I always enjoy seeing little weight reduction things you do, they all add up! What does your car weigh now?

Thank you B.J, I am currently building a resevoir tank for the power steering ( It won't be anything as cool as the stuff Toxic fab produces), so I will post that up when I am finished.

the last time I weight it on a scale it was 3120 with me (162) in it ( 18s, baby seat, half tank of gas, and an exedy flywheel)- so still pretty heavy.

Collin just re-did all of his PS lines & he is about to build a PS res/tank as well. Not sure if it will be a production item or not, as a lot of the stuff he is doing for his build are one off custom pieces. Sounds like our cars are similar in weight. My car is an MR & once I do my 5 spd swap & throw in my Non-ACD T-case , I am guessing my car will be slightly under 3000lbs without me. I still have AC, full stereo, full interior, power everything, etc.

2780. My mind is blown. I can only dream of my car weighing being that light.

Do you have a build thread, where you cover the weight mods you've done? I have read the countless pages here, but seeing exactly what you did would be VERY helpful to me.

I want to achieve similar results, keeping interior looking normal and such. Though, at this point powersteering, a/c, and ABS are all still going to be staying.
