In Dash GPS Antenna

Where do you guys place it in the interior of the car? Is it as "touchy" as the sirius/xm antenna?

I don't have any pics now but if you want them I can get them tonight. I put the antenna in front of the passanger side where the windshield meets the dash all the way on the right. You can tuck the wire in between the dash and piller. No its not as touchy as sirius/xm antenna.

I mounted mine inside the dash -- there's a inch-wide metal bracket to the left of the glove box (you need to remove the glove box to find it).

Supposedly, mounting the GPS antennas to metal helps the reception. I have no problems with it -- it pulls in the signal through the dash as if it wasn't there (it can even get signals when I'm parked in my garage).

Thanks for the reply! If you can post pics, that would be great! Did you use double sided tape for the antenna?

Cool. I'm assuming the antenna is magnetic?

Yes the antenna is magnetic. The antenna scratched my paint on my civic so I will not put it on a painted area on the evo. I'll see if I can post some pics tonight.
