hmmmmm maybe check the fuse? That's never happened to me- the only thing remotely close is when I was dialing in the EQ in my driveway with the car not turned "on" it killed the battery and of course crashed the system. That was my mistake. NEVER play with your radio with just the dome light setting on for more than 5 minutes if you're pushing good power.

 

Nah, the radio never really loses power, it sjust shuts down sometimes for a second or two. The trim lights woudl still be on, just the display goes out. Ig uess as decks become more and more ocmplicated, they get like computers in a sense and get crossed up. Must be running windows or something. But, it usually only happens when I playing sirius, using the ipod, and/or having bluetooth active.

 

hmmm that might be it. I only use mine for the IPOD or CD's- I don't have sirius. The display kinda bugs me too- I don't need animation. I just want to see what song is playing lol.

 

So, not to hijack too bad. What are the popular decks (of course Ipod compatible)these days? Do any match the factory red interior lighting?

hmm good question, I do't know if I can change the color of mine- it's blue. I wish I could change it to red- would rock... I'll have to open the manual. lol

And no doubt dude, I'm already making changes daily- there will be A LOT of fast cars this year- which will = a lot of work for me ahaha.
