Ok people ive tried almost everything i can think off, Im trying to get the immoblizer code off my evo8 ecu so that i can swap in my evo9 harness and ecu. The problem is as i said in title. Im using a volt tester and i get power all over the enginebay the batter sat for awhile but it still shows alot of power. and all the fuses i checked are fine. Though it could be loose ground somewhere but from fusebox into firewall nothing is loose.

wow 2 days and no reply geuss ill just yank the old **** out and just send my ecu off to get the code from it since no one has a idea

The only thing I could think off is that the battery voltage is too low, so that some of the main relays aren't pulled strong enough to close. Try charging the battery up before doing anything more drastic ...

Or just remove the immobilizer function from the ecu.

u can remove the immoblizer from the ecu???? if so how lol id be glad to just take it off
