I bought a car that had a ghetto rigged security system on it and I am trying to remove it and return it to stock. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or a how to for wiring up the stock system? I just want the locks working again with the key fob. If no one even has these things, could you get me started in the right direction by telling me where the stock alarm system is located in the car? I have the dash out right now so it would be easy access if it is there. Thanks in advance!

Well, Im pretty sure the evo doesn't come with a stock alarm, only keyless entry. You might be able to just take out the old alarm if you can figure that out, but it might be easier to take it to a car audio place and see if they would remove it (assuming you could prove you owned the car)

 

Yeah, you are right. I was mistaken with what I said in my first post. I was referring to the keyless entry. Do you have any idea how that is hooked up?

ugh gotta love electrical systems i would take it to a audio or install place so its guranteed not to screw anything up but thats me.

 

Now if I could just find that wiring harness...
