I think if you turn your sensitivity way up then it will go off even if you tap the car. I am going to do that when I get some free time because I hate it when I have people leaning up against my car.

If your sensitivity is too high, any Harley rolling by will set it off.

The prox sensor is you best bet. Field one set to activate about a foot off of each wheel (as previously mentioned).
