Viper 5900 Alarm LED Status issue

I just installed my viper 5900 alarm.

The LED light keeps flashing whether the car is armed or not. It's pretty annoying as it keeps flashing.

Does anyone know how to disable the LED Status light when the alarm is disarmed? I'd like it to only flash when the alarm is armed. I've looked over the wiring and everything is where it should be, I'm looking at the install menubut can't really find anything on how to program it. Any help here?

it keeps flashing if something has triggered a sensor, until the alarm is reset with the ignition on power wire.

well you dont want to have to unplug your battery each time your car is bumped or the alarm is set off. It sounds like the ignition wire is not connected

interesting, so technically everytime the alarm is triggered, then disarmed and started the light should reset?

Yes if it was triggered and you turned the alarm off the led will blink accorinding to what sensor was triggered. If it blinks once waits 3 seconds blinks once again its zone 1 (trunk) 2 flashes zone 2 and so on so on untill the car is started and then it resets

ok i called the shop.

since i have an hks turbo timer, the ignition wire wasnt connected and in order fort he TT to work it has to be that way. so what they did was install a switch for me. so if i want to reset the light, turn the car on and flip the switch back and forth and it's gone.
