So the cable is properly attached and the dials are turning fine and you see the cable being pulled/pushed within their sleeves?

Sounds like either the cable has been cut or the other end is not working right. I have no idea what the other end of the cable is attached to.

The temp cable just moves a damper back & forth to select the mix of hot and cold air. The cable is only like 8" long. You should be able to see where it attaches to the damper under the dash and watch as your turn the knob. The cable should move the damper while the cable's sheath (blue or black) should remain in place. Each end of the sheath has a metal clip to hold it in place and I had some issues getting that clip to stay in place. The clip wraps around the sheath and then clips into the white plastic under the dash. I had to use a small pliers to fix its shape so it would stay clipped into the white plastic.

might be a dumb question but why not keep the mechanical hvac and just use the knobs and panel face from the digital setup?
everything looks like its in the same location, so the recirc and ac buttons would still work

Deff going to try and get creative with the dremal tool when i get home. I'm sure i could possibly make a face plate and then just put it on the stereo relocation kit. I seen the climate control "stickers" on ebay so it will be something that i will deff try out.

I got these on black with white illumination, but I never took took daytime pics of it. All I have is this:



I replaced the factory bulbs with LED ones, so that's why the white is so bright.
