So I fixed the bolts in my sunroof motor(per the how to), and its doing the close in 1inch increments... I was reading and a few people said it would go back to normal after a few days.. well two weeks in(using sunroof everyday) its still doing it in increments. I made sure it was fully open and the motor was fully open when I bolted it back. Any suggestions?

 

Your owners manual has a procedure to reset the position on the sunroof so the motor knows exactly where its at in relation to being open and closed. The increments are a safety precaution so it doesn't burn out the motor trying to "over" close. I'm guessing the sunroof doesnt have limit switches, just home position memory.

 

Its stuck in initialization mode.......you have to get it out...I have the same problem. And the procedure to get it out detail on the 2 posts on this site doesn't work.
