clearing SRS code

Ok i kno u cannot just disconnect the battery to clear this code and a tatrix cable doesnt work either. So does anyone know where the actual connector is that they plug into to reset this code. I was just wondering because the car is still under warranty and I did the electrical gremlin fix and they have already snooped around in my car looking for upgrades for a reason to void the warranty even though there are none.

They plug it into the obd port. Same spot the tactrix cable plugs into. You will have to have the dealer clear it or someone that has an airbag code reader.

They told me it was my fault also but its a very common problem. I just soldered all the individual wires together and had them clear it for me. They did it for free. They wanted to charge me $65 to clear it and then I said the car is still under warranty. I also told them I bought it from them new. I think this helped me out.

haha i unplugged mine because I took out the heavy seat belts when i guted my car. I thought I would have to go to the dealership to get the srs light off but I just plugged the seat belt plug back in and it went off. Im not really sure why lol I guess I got lucky. But now that i work at a dealership getting that code reset is free. if anyone lives near Wilmington NC ill do it for free.

U can't fix the SRS light without assistance from someone from the dealer or a collision shop the computer to clear the code is pricey
