Galant hvac in evo?

Galant hvac in evo?

Ok what do you guys think about sticking the galant hvac unit in the radio relocation spot so i can put a double din head unit. I have seen someone do it it requires sodering but i think it will look alot cleaner. What yall think?

it would work, the best place to find the wireing for it would be the junk yard.

that is way to much, they go for well under 10 bucks from a junkyard. I think i asked before and they only wanted 5 bucks U-Pull-It

Not hard but tedious...

I think I have wiring diagrams for both, which is how I had mine before building my own HVAC bezel. In my case, I clamped the galant HVAC to the factory one because most of the functions didn't work if I used the galnt HVAC alone.

I'll try to find the diagrams and report back, but this doesn't mean I'll be able to help. The diagrams are very similar, so all you'll need to know is which wires to clamp from one to the other.

If you want every single function to work, you're in for a whole lot of work. I decided to do that and I ended up using the Lancer and Galant units and building one unit out of them both, but now even Max AC works. Make sure you're confident on using a multimeter on live circuits, cause you aren't getting away without it.
