Installing a new head unit, help?!

I just bought a Pioneer - 50W x 4 MOSFET and i need help installing it. The stock headunit is located below everything. (OEM gauges> Climate> Headunit) I have no idea on how to mount this headunit. Ill add some pics soon.

do you want the stereo in the same spot or do you want to move it up where your gauges are at? cause you can relocate both of them either way you want it

ok
1st step take the to screw holding the black cover on around the stereo out. there located right above the face plate of the stereo
2nd there are 4 screws holding the stereo unit to the console 2 screws on each side of the head unit. remove those screws and head unit pops right out
3rd unplug the stock unit from harness
4th there are two brackets attached to the stereo that you just took out. they are attached by 2screws on each side take those brackets off and install them on the new unit. and yes they will fit your new unit
5th install the new wiring harness from your new stereo to the stock harness using the appropriate electrical hardware to wire everything together
6th install everything in reverse order how you took it off and down

unscrew the 4 screws, should be able to move out but it will still be plugged in. unplug it, take the harness from the new head unit to the old harness from the stock head unit. put it all back together. its easy

I got it to work but it dosent have any bass nor does the front right speaker works. Tomorrow im going to try and fix the speaker that dosent work. As for the bass could it just be a poor job on my part when connecting the wires? This was my first time so i wouldent be surprised.

It's not too late to take the car to a shop, pay them the $50, and have all the issues taken care of. If the HU picks up noise, and it may, the money will be well-spent. Good luck.

Did you hard wire the connection or buy a plug? for grounding the unit you need to do a chassis ground. put up a pic of your wiring and I can trouble shoot it for you. Also you need to remove the metal cage around the radio and use screws, very short one, they come with the radio. DO NOT USE ANYTHING ELSE or you will drill into the green board.

I bought a wireing kit for it. I think why it dosent have any bass is because i forgot to connect the blue wire....(remote wire) After school tomorrow im going to put the stock one back on and look over my wires.
