Due to the events in Japan, does anyone know if they are still in operation and if I can order from them?

http://www.japanparts.com/db/parts_d...&SEARCH_page=2

Also do all double dins fit this? Regardless of the size? I was looking at buying the Jensen double din which is 6.2 inches.

Thanks for your help. I'm getting ready to do go through the whole HVAC relocation idea. Hope it turns out well.

I bought from them on the 3rd and recieved on the 18th. The tracking info said it was at a Tokyo hub after the disaster.
I was able to mount my alpine w-900 fine. I'm unsure of depth @ this time, but besides a rear crossbrace I could use the factory hangers w/o headunit sleave to mount it at 2 seperate angles. Good news is that an extra set of hangers comes with the radio relocation kit.
Also if you have access to a good finish blade miter saw you can potentially reuse the original radio hvac panel with some bondo work. The bottom 3/4" will be missing, but I'm trying to fill that with panel mounted female to female USB's for tuning and Ipod

I don't know the JDM measurements but compared to alot of other installs I've done you could fit a volleyball back there. I can probalbly pull the measurements tomorrow if you need to know exact rear crossmember to bezel.

I think I am just going to go with a single DIN. Keep it low profile. Thanks though!

Yes they are still operating I got an email from them the other day stating that everything was ok

Here is the email

Dear valued customer,

First of all, we received messages that are concerned with the
earthquake or encouragement from a lot of customers. We really
appreciate it - thank you very much! Since we are located in
Tokyo, which is some distance away from the epicenter, we did not
suffer the tsunami, but the quake we felt was so powerful that we
thought the glass wall of our office building would shatter. Inside
the office, a PC fell, papers were all over the floor, but, fortunately,
everyone in the Japanparts staff and the parts for customers were
safe. Though there’s still a worry, we’ll try our best to keep our
business active. Thank you very much for your support!

***Japanparts is nearing the end of our Sakura Bloomin' sale! ***
A big thank you to all our worldwide customers for your purchases.
There’s only 10days left until this sale ends - if you have any parts you
were thinking of getting, now would be the time!
For those of you who have yet to utilize your discount points*, you can
combine them with orders even during the sale period to get an even
bigger discount!

SALE ENDS Mar. 25th AT 1:00 PM (Tokyo Time)
Los Angels/ 24th 08:00PM
New York/ 24th 11:00PM
London/ 25th 4:00AM
Singapore/ 25th 12:00AM

Oh ok nice. I was wondering how much is the JDM double din after everything? My shipping quote was $22 but then it says things like importing fees and contacting customs for that?

Also would that Jensen fit?
