Whining When Using Right Turn Signal

Whining When Using Right Turn Signal
I did a few different searches: "wiper whine"(accident); "turn signal whine"; "signal whine"; "turn signal whining"; "signal whining".
Now I'm aware of the walboro whine, this isn't exactly that.
Situation: Fluxuating whining sound when using right turn signal. I notice it more at slower speeds, when I turn on my right turn signal a good 80/90% of the time when the signal turns on I'll hear a higher pitched whine sound and it will go lower as the relay moves through its cycle, when the light is not lit the sound is gone, when the light comes back on again the whine starts up just like before. This is only when using my right turn signal.
I've seen some posts referencing the relay but those were different cars altogether. I'm looking to see if anyone here has experienced/fixed this issue.
Do I just need a new relay or is there a larger underlying problem?
C/N: Intermittent whining sound when using right turn signal.
