Convert HID to normal Halogen

Hello everyone. Alright so I am new to the Evo's and exterior mods like headlights. I bought an Evo VIII with damage in the front so the headlights were not there. I had no idea whether they were HIDs or normal halogens so I just bought some headlights from a part out. I believe that what I have are normal halogens and the original headlights on my Evo were HIDs because the connectors are different. I really don't want to have to sell these and buy HID headlights so I was wondering is if I could do ANYTHING to avoid that. Like converting the wire harnesses from HID to normal? ANY input is greatly appreciated.

I wasn't aware 03 had an option for HID... But I never really checked. Could just be a connector issue between years. How bout you post a pic to help us figure this one out for ya?

all 03's had HID's factory

@OP either get the right bulb plugs and chop the factory ones off and solder on the new ones, or talk to someplace like theretrofitsource.com and see if they can make you a short custom 6" or so harness adapter

it'd be easier to chop the factory harness and do it that way
